Has anyone put the GT3 mirrors on their carerra?
I'm looking at doing this and having them done in CF.
can anyone tell me if the mirror unit is in parts or one peice?

Lots of us ordered the Sport Design mirrors for our non GT3 cars.

Those are the sportdesign mirrors that are optional for all 991s and come standard on the GTS, Turbo S, GT3, and 911_50. As Lex said, many folks have them. I like them. I believe they are a molded (inseparable) two-piece design, but not certain.

And at 120mph+(yes, on track), buffeting inside with windows open is unbearable. Need to get those deflectors......

I had them out on after the fact. They come from suncoast in multiple pieces and have to be painted and assembled. Had local dealer do the work and install.

Great, thanks a lot. The guy who I'm talking with about doing the CF overlay wanted to know if the part is in pieces. He was worried about getting to the inside of the unit.
