tell me about it...when it does warm up, the roads are so atrocious with gravel and sand that you can kiss your paint goodbye so i wait until the streets are cleaned up before. might pick up a panamera to replace the ol truck for the winter

how can y'all stand driving a sports car just 5 months of the year ..or looking at it in a worse way, how can y 'all stand just staring at it in the garage for 7 months straight while you slog thru the salty brown slush ?

I live about 50-60KM east of downtown in Maple Ridge. Somebody on city council must be getting a kickback.........they use a crazy amount of liquid de-icer. When that goes down, usually late November, the 911s go to sleep.

Why just sulk? When I asked Paul Risinger how in the world he got his car to such a sublime level http://roadscholars.com/inventory/19...cours-example/ he said the secret is one thing at a time. The car is too big to do all at once. Instead, take one small part- front left fender say- and work on just that one area until its perfect. So divide your car up into areas and you'll have something to lavish attention on all winter long.

Better yet, ship it or drive it (I'll even buy you a one way ticket home!) to one of us Rennlisters in cntrl or southern California. We'll see that it is well taken care of for the winter

Holy crap, you have way too much time on your hands. I'm lucky if I wash and vacuum mine before the first snow arrives. At the end of the day it's just a car, I have other things to do with the family when I actually have a day off. Besides, if the weather warms up in winter I drive the crap of my 911- that's what it is for!
