Default Pastell Orange

I remember that someone a while back was considering PTS of the orange variety. Not sure if this one had been discussed before - but it is being advertised with a slight discount.

If well cared for, in 50 years this car might actually be worth something. Rare. 1 of 1.

Our society is backward. It should command a premium. Rare one of a kind. Absolutely love it.

There's a few of 'em around Seattle. Not 991's, I think it was a standard Boxster color a few years ago. I agree its time will come. Give it a few more weeks, end of October at the latest.

I was not a standard Boxster color. It was a limited edition 2008 Boxster 987 color.

I have know Brad Kennett there for years (he's an ex-Stoddard guy). He's a good guy and really likes the cars as well as selling them.
Stoddard did a spec PTS 997 orange back in the day that also took a long time to sell. I remember staring at it online for what seemed like months...

I think it really sucks that dealers/salesguys such as this one (and Brett @ Sonnen) who are brave enough to spec cars with interesting colors get punished by having these cars sitting on their lots...

This is what causes the plethora of 'take no risks' boring white/black/silver/gray "we specced the full leather ashtray and footstool in preference to the sports suspension" mediocrity to stack up on lots... might as well drive your grandfathers Buick... wearing a flat cap, car coat, backless driving gloves and smoke a pipe in slippers while you are at it!

jesus even this car is PTS...
