As it turns out, the 15mm spacers result in a stance that is just a little too wide for my car (PASM, not SPASM).

SO, I have a set of 15mm spacers for sale. The edges are already painted grey to better blend in with the color of the factory hats. PM me if you're interested. I'll be posting soon in The Marketplace.

Just installed mine, 7mm/15mm yesterday. I dislike the stock setup as I think it tucked in too much even on my narrow body C2S. With 7mm/15mm, I think it fill the space nicely without sticking out or overdo.

And while I have the wheels off, I took my time to thoroughly clean & coat them (inside & out) included the calipers.

5mm OEM spacer set for sale:

These literally were put on when I bought the car and driven less than 10 miles. Ended up buying aftermarket wheels and Tikore lug bolts. This is the complete set from Suncoast. The longer OEM lugs are needed for the spacers. Willing to sell for $225.00 with shipping included!

Not sure I have the 8 small screws that hold the spacers on though. They're cheap and available at the dealer.

your wide body 911-50 edition comes std with 1/2 wider rear Sport Classic Fuchs- homage style wheels in 11.5 inch width and 48 mm offset , so they are already sticking out 10.4 mm farther than , say, an 11.0 inch wide and 52 mm offset wide body size Carrera S wheel that is std wheel on WB C4S .

that is why as per the screen shot just above, the factory does not allow even the modest 5 mm oem optional wheel spacers on their configurator for this wider wheel or the similar dimension 1/2 inch wider Sport Techno wheel .

By adding 15 mm spacers to your particular set up , your rears were each sticking out 25.4 mm ( 1 inch ! ) farther than the WB versions of the Carrera S or Sport Design wheel/tire set up on a C4S !

Besides the aesthetics it does help with track footprint as well. I have a 991tt and have RSS 7 in the front and 15 in the back and when your on the track you do feel a difference especially when making really fast turns, without them car felt like it was going to wiggle in the back. I recommend! especially the RSS ones and make sure there the black ones if you go with them.

Nobody can spot a 5mm spacer. Nor a 7mm either. 10mm MAYBE if you really stare. 15mm, ok, i'll give you that.

i agree but you really shouldn't be going bigger than 7mm in the front ( performance wise ) the 15 in the back are very noticeable but besides that the car reacts different and had a much greater footprint believe it or not.

Thats just my experience

My new 2017 C4S has the Carrera Sport Wheels (the Fuchs) front are 8.5 x 20, 49 offset, and rear are 11.5 x 20, 56 offset. Are 7mm front 15mm back recommended for these wheels, or the 5mm? Or none lol.

Not sure about the front, but the 11.5x20 ET56 is the same wheel size and offset used in the Turbo, which is one inch wider than the C4. Now granted, the Turbo wheels sit deeper in the wells than a C4, but 15mm would push out the wheels a >1/2 inch on both sides.

I think that 15mm may be too much, particularly if you aren't dropping your car. Going aggressive on offset with a conservative ride height/wheel gap can look weird.

Ok gotcha. The car has PASM with the 20mm ride height drop from the factory. I am considering lowering springs but I'm in no rush and still doing research. There's not a lot out there for the 991.2 yet that I can find.

J.Ho, go on RSS website give them a call and see what they recommend for spacers, i believe the 15 should be find for the back, also my suggestion don't mess with the right height of the car, things tend to change drastically once thats changed, have experience thru a friend and so much money wasted to go back to stock height. Enjoy the new car tho!

So with the smallest spacers (7mm), are the studs long enough ? At what size do you need to attach the spacer to the hub and bolt the wheel to the spacer ? The double attachment adds complication and weight for me...

On my old 911 I just had longer studs put in and used open ended nuts, looked real good... I agree with filling the fenders but not at the cost of 20 more bolts...

I had ordered some Carerra Classic Sport wheels and now that they are on I really don't think I need to change anything - ride height or spacers. What ya'll think?

Looks great - I wouldn't touch it.

Personally, if you are close, then leave it alone. For a street car, OEM is best IMO.
