20x12 on 991 C2S (NB)?
I have a set of wheels that are 20x12 +50 in the rear and wanted to confirm they will fit on a 991 C2S? I had read they would from this thread:
https://rennlist.com/forums/991/7059...1-carrera.html
It makes it seems like 991 NB fits wider (more aggressive)wheels than 997s. But I cannot find more data to back this up.
Does anyone know if 20x12 +50 will fit in the rear of a 991S? Does it need any camber or conservative tires or does it fit flush?
Thanks!!!

I know it's only 2mm but it appears the wheels in that other thread were 48mm offset. Your 50mm offset will make the wheel fit 2mm inbound from the outside fender. Meaning if the wheel in question in that other thread (outside of the wheel) fit flush with the outside of the fender then the wheels your talking about will sit in 2mm. The inside edge will also sit 2mm closer to the suspension components.
Many times the only way to know if a particular wheel will fit is to try it with a tire. The more aggressive size the more impractical the tire size will need to be. The Sport Techno wheels are wider than all the other 20" 991 911 wheels Porsche makes available. There are few guys that are running spacers with the technos because they already fit nicely. There is a reason Porsche sizes the wheels the way they do. The more tire spit towards to inside fender lip and inside rear bumper cover the more wear from road debris you will produce.
To summarize 2mm is not much but another half inch in overall width of the wheel is a lot.
Hopefully someone from HRE or ADV.1 will chime in and help with this thread. The lower the offset the more "pad" the interior of the hub where the wheel meets the rotor is the best way to understand offset.
That didn't really help I guess but just a little info.

With 20x12 50mm on a narrow body you will be a poster child for Reverse Offset.
You might get away with a stretched 295.
A 305 is going to stick out like a low rider.
Also, there is no point of a 12", if you are not running a 315 or 325?
I can give you numbers if you want.
Tell me what tire and I can calculate the difference to stock or whatever you have currently.
For example I ran calcs for a 325-30-19 on a 12" and I'm looking at 72mm.
