Has anyone personally installed a PSE exhaust on a 991S?

Glad I found this thread. Special thanks to @bittrl1000 for the play-by-play and @sprtent for the photo of your list of parts!
It's 3AM, I have to wake up at 6AM... but the 3 hours of sleep is worth it as I've placed my order for my PSE parts!

Where did you order from and what was the total? About to do the same myself. Cheers.

I completed the install on Saturday. Well, mostly. I still have to get the switch programmed. But not a huge deal with a C2S. I have to say...I wasn't overwhelmed. There isn't much of a difference from the standard C2S exhaust. I was expecting more. Personally, I think PSE sounds much better with the sound symposer plugged up. I don't hear any of the crackling sound inside the car.

Another question on this - we all know that if the car detects a leak in the vacuum system it will throw the cooling system fault on the dash.
Let's say you botch the install a bit and/or one of the vacuum hoses comes loose and the fault warning comes of. When the leak is corrected does the fault warning light go off by itself, or does it need to be turned off by the dealer?

Just ordered! Can someone post the instructions they received and have referenced? Thanks!

Just to recap the PSE install on my C2S. I installed the center muffler and support hardware last weekend. I installed the button but have not had the car programmed for PSE. I wanted to see if PSE would operate the same way with PSE than it did with the standard exhaust. Valves open at idle, closed after 10 seconds. Valves open at 3700 rpm.
After a week of not hearing much of a difference between the standard exhaust and PSE, I decided to mount a GoPro on the rear bumper so I could visually watch the valves open and close. Unlike the standard exhaust, when you start the car the valves stay closed. Even when you're above 3700 rpm the valves remain closed. They only open when you floor it. And even then they only stay open for a few seconds.
This Saturday I had PSE programmed at Porsche of Orlando. What a difference. Now I know why everybody swears by it. It sounds great. Very addictive sound. The pops and spurts aren't too obnoxious.
Just an FYI...The standard exhaust tips fit just fine. They don't line up perfectly. But nothing a little adjustment can't fix. For anyone thinking of tackling this yourself, it's pretty basic. As long as you feel comfortable removing the rear bumper, air box, crash structure, and heat shield on both sides of the car, you'll be fine. In total it takes around 30 minutes to remove the parts required to access the center muffler.

That was my experience as well. Before I got to dealership to reprogram operation of the valves, the PSE was hard to enjoy cause it would come on only when I was hauling butt. As soon as I picked the car up from the dealer, I couldn't stop grinning!

So I did this a few weeks ago, at the same time replacing all 8 change-over valves and harnesses (F-revision). I did not order install the centre console buttons and programming. I only ordered the PSE muffler and clamps and the vacuum lines and some new hex nuts.
I have a 2013 C4S. In normal mode, the valves stay closed till about 3500 as others have mentioned. However, in sport mode and sport plus mode, the exhaust follows normal PSE programming. So if you like the quiet mode in Normal and more sound in sport modes, then that's all you need to do.
I should also mention I have a 4 post lift. No bumper removal was necessary.

One hour. Plus $18.45 for misc. parts. Not sure what that was for. Turn on the laptop I guess. Anyways, $184.00 for 15 minutes work. If you call pressing a few keys on a laptop work.
In total PSE cost me around $2000.00. I replaced quite a few parts that could have been easily reused. If you reuse the clamps and gaskets you could probably get the install down to around $1,700.00 - $1,800.00

So far, I'm in it for $1,266.92 for parts and shipping. If my PSE button programming comes out to $184, getting PSE added will come out to less than $1500 for me after DIY install.
I'm curious to know why yours came out to >$500 more (the list of parts I ordered is in comment #80)? Did you have to also buy the side mufflers?

On another note, on my 2014 C4S with the Soul Exhaust on my PSE car, the valves very distinctly open at 3300 RPM when I'm in supposedly quiet mode regardless of throttle position. I've gently probed above and below 3300 RPM (at least as indicated on the tach) and they clearly close below that and open above that. WIth the Soul xpipe there's no ambiguity about when it is open vs closed. I actually wish it would open just a little later since even in normal mode I accidentally cause it to go loud sometimes when I don't want it to since 3300 is easy to hit even with modest acceleration in normal mode.
