The controllers themselves usually run about $150 +/- and install is about an hour or two depending on who does it. It'd basically save you the need to buy an OEM Porsche switch and the need to have the ECU re-tuned. I am by no means saying this is the be all end all of how to retrofit active valves, I just wanted to make sure everyone is aware that there are alternative means to do so.

Best,

Is this the correct part number for a PSE add to a 991.1 S?

Looks like it. When I bought my parts, I called the dealer to make sure I had the correct, current part numbers.

Here's my last year's PSE list for my 2014 C4S Cab. I installed this myself at home, then to dealer for a $215 switch programming.

Some notes:
1. I ended up didn't use the vacuum tube (900-918-005-40) since I used the existing tube and cut it as needed.
2. Bought 2 vacuum hoses, as listed (991-111492-00). I really only needed one. Didn't return the 2nd one and used it as a heat-shield sleeve for part of the clear vacuum tube where it touches a metal part.
3. Your VIN is needed for them to sell you the correct parts, and to send you the correct switch (cab, roof, etc).

Nice. What did you use for instructions? I believe if you purchase the kit from Suncoast it comes with instructions.

sessionstu, Bud,

I bought these from Sunsetporscheparts in Oregon and used the instructions from them. It's pretty much self explanatory when you lay everything out and see where the vacuum lines supposed to go.

I did reused my S tips and the 2 muffler clamps.

Thanks guys. Got a PSE centre muffler for £235. I'm going to get it fitted then order the right switch panel and my local Porsche specialist can sort out the programming as they have the right kit.

Should be able to do everything except the tailpipes for about £500. Not a bad bargain.

I bought some parts from Paramount Parts Store a couple of weeks ago. Excellent service. Prices were good. Comparable with the others. They're in North Carolina, so no sales tax unless you live there.

Thanks. Did you use the same parts as the parts list from SPRTENT?

Default Best Non OEM PSE TIPS

After all the reading here what I can gather is that the S model OEM Non-PSE Tips are a bit shorter that the S PSE TIPS. The guy at Suncoast is verifying. That being said, what are the most like OEM or best aftermarket TIPS that folks have used for PSE ? 1K for 4 metal holes is ludicrous but if in fact the non PSE tips are shorter then it makes since to get the right length.

I have the Porsche one I can send you. PM me your email and I'll send it to you.

I'm curious about the one some are getting from sunsetporsche. If someone can send me that one that would be great. Want to see if it's the same as the Porsche one.

Thanks

Thank you to everyone who contributed to this thread. I am about to start ordering parts to add PSE to my 2014 C2s
