Finally got the Caractere rear spoiler painted installed. I think it looks pretty good! OEM spoiler still functions too.

wow thats first time I've seen it installed for real - very nicely done. Wondered about this one for a while. I think it's the sharpest aftermarket spoiler. Thanks for the complete pics all around up and down! Well done sir.

Hey guys thanks for the compliments. Yes I thought it would be useful to post some "oem spoiler up" pics for those interested in this aftermarket spoiler as I had searched and searched and searched the Web relentless to no avail of any proof that the the oem would still work ok. I took a chance and bought it anyways and thank goodness it is ok and clearance is fine! ;-)

I bought the spoiler from CEC in California. They are the dealer for Caractere. Good people but not even they nor Caractere the mfg had such photos.

Here is another shot of my car on the hwy with sunroof open so the oem is up at the highest. Still ok!

How does it install?

The original vented grill piece is removed and replaced by a new Caractere grill that come with pedestals where the wing attaches.

For the quality I think reasonable. Made in Belgium. About the same price as fiberglass knock off Techart kits found on ebay.

The S and 4S is the same. Just different versions between coupe and cab.
