Default On my 50th the middle front fascia radiator area is exposed..

I notice on other pics there is a plastic piece there protecting the radiator. Is my car missing something?
Most pics I see look like this:

it's the additional radiator for the Powerkit.

Good question, Ceepe. Yes there is a Power kit radiator there, but none of the photo's of a 911/50 I have ever seen look like yours. They all have the usual black filler piece. Covering the radiator. Which is odd. Unless the usual plastic trim provides enough space for a fan to pull air in behind it. That part of the car looks unfinished to me. Even the GT3 has a better center radiator design. What's your dealer say?

The real 911-50 cars have the visible radiator in the center. The cars for the auto shows had the standard black insert like all non-powerkit cars, either for protection or perhaps not fully built out as display cars.

There is no mistake from the dealer. The power kit includes a center radiator, having that black plastic would of course block all air from entering the radiator. The press pics are of 50th annv. cars in non power kit form (other countries did not get power kit as standard).

For a couple hundred USD, you can get a mesh grill to cover that up, as well as the two side openings as well. It will look much sharper that way. Good luck and nice ride!

As ArashApollo already wrote: The "Non-US" 911-50 don't have a central radiator because they don't have the powerkit.
Therefore they have the black cover even if they are "real".

In "hot areas" like Dubai, the standard 991 have the central radiators for additional cooling, so there are different models out there.

Thanks ArashApollo. Any idea where to find those? Was looking around and could not find any.

Apologies, poor choice of words on my part. I meant "real with a power kit."

I found a company called Racemesh which I am eventually going to have make grills for my C4S with Powerkit. Their offering looks good and they seem very willing to work to install their product on Porsche factory parts. They said they could pre-install the mesh and charge a core-exchange for the parts.

How in the world can this car be covered all over the internet and across the world automotive press and this is the first photo showing the way the car really looks? Major fail. I would not be ordering anything until long after working with the dealer and Porsche on a proper solution.

What exactly are you talking about?
All 911-50 with powerkit have that radiator and it is visible on all cars.
All 911-50 without it, have the black cover (because there is nothing behind it).

Can't see a "fail" here.
