Hi Nick,

I am so upset of what you have experienced

This is beyond horrid!
Get a new car and compensation for so much aggravation you have been through with your new Porsche!

This is crazy awful!
Keep us posted!

As partial restitution the car should be returned to Porsche, fully torn down to bare metal, repainted PTS and rebuilt, then returned to the dealer to sit in the showroom with a plaque that declares the new dealer-inspired PTS color, Lemon Yellow.

Clear cause for a whole new car, even up at the very minimum. The last adventure should cause them to do better than that. Keeping you in an unsafe car is well beyond inconvenient. I would not hesitate to get a lawyer into the mix.

This is the part I find most staggering about this debacle.

If the car is not declared a lemon then it could end up in some other poor bastards hands!

This would be true, were it not for the fact that Nick has been so patient and willing to work with them. Its easy to watch this and wonder why they haven't done more. But really, nobody I ever saw in sales is going to do anything unless you're asking for it. On the one hand its amazing what customers are able to get if they have even half a reason if they are adamant about it. But on the other its incredible what they'll be happy to let you put up with as long as they see you tolerating it. That's where Nick has been, tolerating. Until very recently anyway. So we will find out soon enough.

Just compensatory damages. As this is essentially a breach of contract case (i.e. breach of warranty, express and implied), punitive damages are not available.

Lemon laws vary from state to state of course, but this is generally true 99.9% of the time.

Yep and that's the reason I have never bought a used car in 50 years. I'm willing to pay a premium for peace of mind.
Over the years I have read plenty of horror stories about cars, but none of them approach this one, regardless of how inexpensive the car may have been.
