Cant go wrong with a WB and the Sport Design package. love the Cajun description of the por-shay.

Drive it you will know.

Perfect color and options. Apples and oranges vs the Merc. Like chuck says- you gotta drive it!

maxpowers 02-27-2014 10:54 PM

This Porsche looks pretty good. I'd go with it over the Mercedes. Do you a full list of options?

Flowmacks 02-27-2014 11:08 PM

It really does have the right options. Perfect setup for your first Porsche.

Oh great, now my wife thinks I'm subscribed to an adoption forum.....

Nice looking car, but man, I had to turn the sound off completely.

Next time, they need to get someone who can actually read the script to narrate the video.

Example:
Script reads: "... to suit your needs"
Narrator pronunciation: "... to sweet (a.k.a. suite) your needs"
Next time spell it "... to soot your needs" .... so the pronunciation is close.

I have both cars and can tell you that those are totally different animals. One thing that they do have in common is that both are super fast and go like stink but that's about the only similarity. The cls63 is a roomy sedan, comfortable, but not a driver's car like the 911. Drive wise I would pick the 911 every time, but if u need to carry passengers then choose the cls. The 911 is more precise, quick response and just sportier. U must try both out for your self to see what best suits you. For me, I love both cars.

+1

Sold my CLS a few months before I picked up my car. The Benz was a nice big heavy monster. Lots of torque so it was a blast to drive from light to light. I owned it 3 years and it was also expensive to own. The 911 makes me feel like I'm a 20 year old. Like my first go cart I made and installed a yz80 2 stroke motor in it. I almost killed myself with that thing.

If you want more backseat and get a few thumbs up from guys that even know what a CLS63 is than great. If you want to own something that will make you feel excited every time you turn that key with your left hand and put a huge smile on your face get the 911.

Either or they are both great cars. I would go from the CLS to the 911 again. I wouldn't go back to a CLS now.

LOL!

OP: I agree with the other posters... drive one first.

Zohan 02-28-2014 08:42 AM

Obversely get a 911 and don't go posting this on MB forum. Only u know what is best for u

MerlinsGarage 02-28-2014 09:41 AM

You know you are on a Porsche forum............right?;)

Anyway, also check out a MB forum and (possibly) see a different prospective. :)

Drive..............then decide.

porscheboy225 02-28-2014 05:54 PM
