As always your DIY in excellent even for ppl who can't read
I did my oil change w/on jacking up the car. You don't have to if you and the oil pan are not too fat. But lifting the back of the car should help with drainage as it tilts the engine toward the drain opening. I drained mine over night and used 9 quarts of Mobil.

It's pretty easy to do, but you have to have to use a little muscle. I just watched the Suncoast video. I didn't do it quite the same. I pushed the reflector pretty hard toward the back of the car while pulling out. So push and pull at the same time. For me, the metal tab at the back of the reflector popped out first. The reflectors are attached to the plastic front bumper, so you won't have to worry about bending the metal fenders. It will pops loose rather violently if you aren't careful.

Maintenance Spreadsheet
Attached is my rather crude but effecitve maintenance spread sheet that I keep on all of my cars. I know there are fancier ways to do it with apps or software.
On a side note, I never, ever create a summation of the total cost of ownership. I don't want to know.

Just read all 12 pages (which I never do)...really nice thread - definitely a good read.
I don't believe I've seen your M3 in person...but I remember reading either a journal or FS ad somewhere (maybe M3post). Beautiful car it was but the 991 is simply a work of art.
Will definitely follow and I'm sure I'll see it around Orlando at some point.
BTW - The journal and photos are great...but I'm more impressed with your garage then anything else lol. Racks for cleaning products is simply awesome!

Burning Brakes
Thanks for the write-up about the oil change. I just did mine last weekend. I was able to do with without jacking the car up - I just backed out from my garage a bit until the backend was hanging out - the small lip of my garage floor gave me enough room to work under there. I ended up putting 7.5 quarts in. Total for parts and oil was $85. Pretty easy job and it was fun discovering that I had an engine under all those plastic covers .
