Default Advice for 991 options list

Hello, all..... First post for me here....

Placed an order for C4S cabrio yesterday and have a few days to decide about final option.... Would like to take opinions about a couple of things please:

- White dials: any one has them? any problems experienced with light reflection. Are they too bright?

- Passenger mirror tilts on reverse gear: Salesman believes they are included in the memory package but he was not sure. (Car has adaptive 18 movements seats, elect folding mirrors and autodiming mirrors).

- Adaptive cruise control and PAS: any experience? does it worth the money? if you have this option, do you use it regularly or was just fun for a few weeks then never been used again. I do lots of motorway driving but don't usually use my cruise control (not adaptive) however, i like the idea of the PAS, but any feedback please?

- Any one has pic for car with and without wheel spacer please

- if you have luggage on the rear seat will the wind deflector still work? if not, is there a modification that could be factory ordered?

- Views about ventilated seats - both in summer and winter please... (Well, if we do have summer in glasgow)

Thank you

You won't regret getting white dials.

+1 on the white dials. My Ptt had them, and it is the one option I miss on my C4S. Depending on the ambient light, black dials can be difficult to read.

Re: mirrors mine tilt (18 way with premium plus) although it doesn't tilt down as much as the Ptt did. Mine tilts as if it is folding in rather than down. No way I could see a curb. It is so bad I suspect I must have set up PCM wrong.

I really like the look of my white dials they stand out more to me than black ones. No issues day or night with them.

I got PAS for the safety feature. Didn't plan on using adaptive cruise too much but I find I use it in traffic mostly. It makes driving less frustrating when there's no open road.

ACC is the coolest toy I've ever owned in a car. I still use it.

I am pretty sure that it is standard for the passenger mirrors to tilt down in reverse.
You just have to select the option in your PCM settings.

There is also a method (using the memory function) to adjust their tilt.

Personally I don't like the way the Adaptive Cruise Control senor makes the car look and seeing you don't use cruise control, why bother...?

White dials will certainly not be a sight for sore eyes..

if you drive on the freeway often, adaptive cruise control is much more than a toy! I had it on my Audi A7 and its an amazing safety tool. Works really well. You will not regret it.

The mirror can be set in the PCM for anytime you put the car in reverse or you can turn it off in the PCM and just adjust it down when you want it by selecting the passenger mirror adjustment control.

Thank you for the comment on the white dials.. Duxsi, your dials look amazing, brilliant color choice

As for the adaptive cruise control, it is mainly the PAS function that I am thinking of.

P.S.: Edited my first post to add a question on the wheel spacer

I have white gauges, great day and night.
Re: mirrors; The passenger mirror does NOT tilt without 14 or 18 way seats and Performance or
Performance Plus packages. A lot of expense for an item that used to be standard.

I said Performance packages. Of course they are Premium packages. Excuse the mistake.

If you do the white dials, don't forget the sport chrono dial too.
