If anybody wants just the Front Aero Design bumper, I will buy rear Duck and we will both save big time. PM me.

ducktail should be a no cost option ..

it means Porsche doesn't need to install the lifts for the spoiler, thus saving costs!

I wonder if the ducktail also means a weight saving?

Agreed on the price option... but this is Porsche. You can be sure they would come up with an explanation like: they do not sell as many ducktails so the unit cost is higher and it is not the standard configuration so it takes more labor (just making stuff up)

I have the aerokit on mine and the weight is at least the same as the standard wing + motor. Now the ducktail is a bit lighter...

This is RUF's newest release shown this week at Geneva. However, I don't see a 3rd brakelight.

Got to love the duck tail. Also got to love the Fiat.

Default 991 SD Ducktail

I just got mine, SD package. One thing I think is that some off the fill etc might be repositioned with the SD Package versus normal spoiler I would check to make sure before I bought the ducktail. It might not be an issue but it might. Worth checking.

To me the standard spoiler looks cleaner and more functional. the duck tails should be free as it is obviously cheaper to produce vs standard spoiler. If the 991 came standard with a duck tail popup spoiler would cost 2-3k and probably the same people would get this mod.
