Default Car Cover Recommendation

Can any of you recommend a good cover for a new 50th Anniversary model (essentially the 4S body). Will be in garage. Want to have protection against the wayward kid venturing into the garage or my otherwise stellar cat that likes to find the high ground. So protection against scratches and dings paramount over weather and temperature.

The factory covers are nice. About $170. Carnewal also has great covers and cost double.

Hmm. The cat presents a problem. I had a wood table with a cloth cover on it. Our cat would jump up with claws exposed and would scrap up the table because she thought that the cloth would provide something to dig into for traction. We took off the cloth...no more scratches.

Yes with the cat one car cover alone may not be enough. Your best bet is a flannel (or microfiber) cover on the car with another regular cover over that. If you can't find flannel use a few 100% cotton bath towels under the cover to protect from the claws. And dings. With a car like that you can never be too careful.

I've been happy with my Griot's cover, but there are probably lots that will work fine for your indoor protection.

I got mine from Suncoast, and am very happy with it. It uses a zipper and draw strings to keep it on even in strong wind.

I've had the factory cover on order now for 4 months +! Seems impossible to get in Canada.

I also use the formfit. Can recommend. Purchased mine with a coupon from autoanything and takes a couple weeks to get.
