So Ive had venture shield on my last three cars. My first two I went with half bras that covered the front half and rear bumper. They protected me from so many trips to the body shop, little bumps front and back that you can never see. I actually got hit in the front bumper in NYC from the side and the bumper flexed but returned back to normal with no damage to the paint. Amazing stuff

This time i had the full front put on because I didn't like the lines from the half front plus rear bumper. It was such a great job that I thought about doing my doors to protect from dings and stuff. But then I started wondering where I would stop...the roof? Might as well do the whole car!

There has been quite a bit of debate over the years in clear bra vs. bare paint. Although, the product is important, what is more essential when going with paint protection film is actually the installer. An experienced clear bra installer provides coverage and installation that can be "clear." Below are some examples of poorly installed products from vehicle owners who brought the vehicles in for us to replace. It really would not matter whether the product is by Xpel, Prestige, Ventureshield, etc. as the installation would make the product look bad like the photos below:

I have several of those alligator marks in my clear bra. I am not happy about it but thought I was being to picky. Are those normal? I don't have them on any of my other cars but they don't have the whole hood done and as many curves. I also have some scratches I can't wax out and I sure hope the scratches are in the material because I polished the car to perfection before taking it in.

Don't worry about which product. It is all about the installer.

Carefully look at cars they have worked on. Some "experienced" installers doing work for some of the high end dealerships do average (to poor) work.
