Looks fantastic. How cool is it to drive on the "ring". One question I had about anyone who picks their car up in Germany is do you have to get the front plate drilled?

Awesome car! I have the same setup (same interior, exterior, wheels) but coupe instead of cab. You sir have great taste! Taking that car on the ring must have been amazing.

What else can I say than WOW! What a trip, what a car, and such a cool report. Thanks for helping us all "ride along" a bit on this adventure. Bet you can't wait for Christmas!!!
All the best to you in your coming adventures.

Yes, you need a front plate. I had mine drilled, because I needed it for MN anyways. I have seen stories where someone has specifically requested the front not be drilled with plans to install the SKENE system at the time of delivery. With mixed success.....

Oh well. Better than a stick in the eye, I suppose. I DID love the picture they took. Came out perfectly!!

My portrait.... well.... 'twas very very nice... the car was beautiful... but it's a constant reminder I gotta hit the gym soon and start eating more salad for dinner. Oh but note the 911_50 in Graphite Grey to the right of the car. My buddy was having an orgasm over that one, lol.
@kes7u, did you do a write up? I'd love to read it.

Beautiful car and picture!!! I absolutely love that blue color. Now my SECOND favorite color!!
I shared some pictures previously on 6speed, but never really did a nice write up like yours. If you'd like, you can go here, and see a sort of 'photo essay' of our journey!
BTW, thanks for looking up the year! Glad to see Porsche didn't mess up.....!

Johnny.
Still a great Bruin color you have there!
I should have gone with a nice color like you two did and stand out. Every other 911 here in Los Angeles is black. Of course it helps when I'm robbing liquor stores.
Kevin. Great picture blog! We must all have some of that "find the superior parking spot" DNA in us. I liked that pic "dumb luck"
You two really did it up right! I'm so jealous.
If I had asked my wife to accompany me to pick up my car in Stuttgart she would have said f-off! Not a car person.
Congrats and that's going to be my Signature from now on. "Have a nice trip."

I've spent a lot of time in Deutschland so I really enjoyed your post. In my experience it's difficult explaining to others what it's like to drive the German autobahns because most people tend to think I'm exaggerating. Your post was great and so is your car. I hope you enjoy it.
