Talking Shark Werks 991 3.4L Exhaust Video / Preview

Hey folks happy Friday and I just wanted to show you a sample of a project we were working on today... a 2013 991 Carrera 3.4L with our soon-to-be-released sport exhaust. We were targeting something that was very civilized for daily driving (no drone or resonance) but also had a nice bark to it with throttle input much like our 997.2 system is on the 997 GTS' with PSE if you will. When you apply aggressive throttle you can hear a more exciting pitch and tone. Playing around with the throttle induces crackles and deeper howls more fitting for a 911.

Here's a sample...

Have a great weekend!

Hi Alex, this is what I have been waiting for. Did you bypass the side mufflers or center muffler? When will it be available?

Thanks

More on this soon... But we were going for improved sound without drone. Any hp gain is minor and gravy

Default Update & Release

Just a final update to let you know that we installed our first production unit last week on a 3.4L local car. This exhaust replaces just the center muffler with our CNC mandrel bent tubing and OEM-sized tubing for maximum flow with minimal side effects. The simple system reduces weight on the rear of the car and gives a 50-state emissions compliant option for those looking to get a bit more grunt without check engine lights or problems.

The stock exhaust is removed and weighed:

And the Shark Werks pipe:

A savings of almost 8 lbs, right where you want it most.

And a few minutes later our pipe is installed:

More information about this exhaust is available here.
