Dan how long will it take for you guys to develop an exhaust for the 991.2? Should we order the car with or without PSE if we plan to upgrade? The 991.2 PSE pipes are center mounted, the non are not.

If you test drive the car with the PSE and like it, I'd go for it. It's usually a worthwhile upgrade and sometimes better than what the aftermarket can create. I can't talk about future products but we'll post as soon as we have anything available for the car.

I figure this is probably a good place to post this, as Sharkwerks may know this quickly. Or anyone....

My question is what is the mechanical difference between the 991 3.4 and 3.8 motors? [besides hp and torque].

All I can find is the bore and piston diameter has increased with the 3.8, but that seems to be the end of it. And it looks to be no changes in the the crank, piston rods or block. Looks to be no change in the throttle body. Maybe the cams? I could see a change in the fuel management, but I’d guess that’s driven to some computer?

Then of course, that takes me to the trannies. Did they do anything with the flywheels: PDK or Manual?
