Default Carbon Fibered all the plastics!

Have expressed my dislike of all the cheap looking black plastics on the car, finally done something about it!

Went for 3M carbon fiber vinyl.. results were much better than how it originally looked, very satisfied.

Only thing remaining right now is to paint the mirrors parts with same car color

Hi

Looks nice. Did you do them yourself?

I wrapped the two door sill plates myself and thought about doing the front spoiler and rear diffusor. Not sure if I can do a good job.

I already ordered my air intake grilles in red to match the body so that's off the table for me, but everything else - including the stalks for the side mirrors - I may end up having professionally wrapped at the same time I get a clear bra. Can't cost much and would sure give the car a nice, finished look. I should've thought of that when I opted for the painted grilles but they'll look good too and are permanent so no buyer's remorse.

I think the painted grills will look great! That's part of why I like my black car...all the trim, etc comes black anyway.

You could, but with the money saved you can pay for half the cost of a clear bra.

I thought about getting them since mine were scrapped up a little, but after finding out how expensive they are. I decided to go online and learn a little vinyl wrapping DIY.
Total cost was $35 + 1 hour of labor. I know the quality and durability is not the same, but I think it is good enough. The best part is you can just re-wrap if it is badly scrapped up.

Thanks, and no I didn't, took it to a professional. I'm not good at doing such things on my own + I get very nervous taking anything out of/ doing anything to the car + I don't have much spare time as my job is -as much as it pays- very, very demanding & time consuming.

Oh, I was planning for painted air intake grills, but then I thought why not try this first, then if I didn't like it, or got board of it, or maybe if it got torn off or something, I'd then go for the painted ones.

Yeah I've seen those, a bit too expensive IMO.

How much for the whole package? or just the front and rear spoiler/diffusor?

I asked my clear bra company about covering my black plastic with CF wrap but the answer I got was that the plastic is textured, not smooth, and therefore the film won't stick for long and will start to peel pretty quickly. He'll take my money to do it but doesn't recommend it for that reason, so I know his advice is unbiased. How's it working out for you so far?
