Default Plastic burning smell after Exhaust Recall done

Plastic burning smell from rear of car after Exhaust Recall done. Doesn't stay for too long after engine is off. Any idea?

My car is supposed to have the new mufflers but the dealers in my area haven't gotten them or a date when they expect to receive them.

I'm sure it's normal. It's probably the grease / lubrication used to make it easier to slide the pipes together burning off. I noticed it for about 2 days.

Was told by tech at dealer that it is some kind of protectant to guard against corrosion during shipping.
