991 Custom Laser Jamming + Radar Detection System
2013 991 Cab rolls in to get a 9500Ci installed. Customer recently received a ticket going triple digits. Fortunately, the CHP officer didn't show to court so he lucked out on this one. This would have easily meant a $1000 ticket for those speeds along with a raised insurance premium for years to come. For someone with 5 cars, this would mean a substantial increase to insurance expense so it made a lot of sense to him to get the radar detector and laser jamming system installed by us.
First, we created a custom display in the center armrest area and wrapped it with matching leather. 2nd, we made a custom frame for the rear jammer so it is integrated into the rear plate. Most 9500Ci installs are just mounted on top of the plate frame, which is quite visible since it looks like a 2" black box sticking out.
Here are the photos of the install:
LED properly placed if the driver wants to Mute the system, yet still be able to view visually when being hit with laser. This LED light will turn red when this happens.
Custom display / module filled the little cubby area nicely. Wrapped with real leather and color matched to surrounding interior color.

Unfortunately not. We custom make these for each vehicle. Do you have any photos of yours? Perhaps, we can provide you with some pointers...

Question: Is it possible to get this (and the clearbra) installed elsewhere around the country? I'm on Long island. Are there other franchises?

We actually used to offer this, but received numerous feedback from customers that they found it distracting for night time driving. The light shining through the mirror distracts many when looking at the mirror to view cars behind.

That is a great install, ive been wondering what to do with the unsightly hole since i did not get the smokers package and this solves that problem and where to put the remote control unit.
One question though, i have this system in my truck and have the display unit integrated into my dash area so it is more in my line of sight. did you consider mounting the display in that area, my concern would be if my stereo is cranked up, and i did not immediately hear the audio warning, would the small led be visible enough alone?
thank you
