Sunroof or Headliner Noise

Sunroof or Headliner Noise
I am hearing a constant sort of "geiger counter" cracking noise from my passenger headliner near the sunroof opening.
It is constant, not intermitent, even on smooth roads.
When I tilt the sunroof the noise mostly goes away but not entirely.
When I press up on the headliner it stops.
I have had it into the dealer several times but it is still there.
Any ideas.

Had the exact same problem at around 500 miles on my car. Dealer fixed it in a few hours. I recall them have to put some sort of spacer or lubricant on the pieces that hold the headliner on. Supposedly there is a service bulletin regarding the sunroof, not sure if that was the fix though.

Yup, you are not alone and the issue has been covered ad nauseam.
There is a repair kit that the dealers use.
Got mine fixed and it's a lot better, but I really hate all the rattles and creaks in my 991.
Latest one is in the dash and the drivers side door panel.
Absolutely unacceptable for a $130k car with 2500 miles on it.

I had the same issue, probably from day one, but only noticed it after 200-300 miles. Got it fixed at 800 miles. Dealer had the car for 2 days and fixed 3-4 other rattles/squeaks at the same time. Annoying for sure and in principle, something I absolutely do not expect in a $120k car. But, the dealer did a good job addressing it.
