Thanks a lot Tim - I looked at the configurator after reading your reply and realized they are the 19" base model rims - I won't consider them for my S model then obviously - thanks very much for pointing that out.
I suppose the car in the video is set up with a "winter wheels" package - my local dealer (Connecticut) offers that in 19" for the S model (with thicker tires) for better snow performance.
I think I'll just leave the standard rims alone and consider the Leather Interior for any additional money I want to put into the car.

However, I just had 4 hot laps around the Dubai race circuit with the Porsche racing drivers in the prototype 918 Spyder. $1,000,000 - 795 bhp and pretty quick. The 4-wheel steer is amazing, the car is planted. Awesome experience, thank you Porsche.

Only a few weeks before I get my C4S :-)

I'm an Author on Business Strategy and Porsche hired me to do a motivational speech for all the guys who own Porsche dealers.
The Porsche dealers were all invited to Dubai for this annual conference but they didn't know they were going for a spin in the 918 Spyder. The news was shared with me and I was sworn to secrecy
Everyone was given the agenda for the 2 day event. I was on stage on day 1 from tea break until lunch. After lunch the agenda was simply listed as "Activity" for 3 hours.
After I finished my talk, the Porsche MD came on stage to thank me and then announced to the dealers that they were going for a spin in the 918 Spyder after lunch at the Dubai Autodrome, so get back from lunch on time :-)
Awesome experience all round for me as a 911 owner
Interestingly, some people did not want the spin in the 918 - unbelievable!
