Default M&M Exhaust System for 991 S

Hello guys,

I would like to introduce the new M&M system for the Carrera S.
I believe this is one of the first complete exhaust systems available for the 991. I know that a lot of you guys opted for the sport exhaust option when building your car, but for those that didn't, this is a good option, and for those who did, but are looking for weight and a little more power, this could be a good alternative.

For those of you that don't know M&M Germany is a top exhaust manufacture for Porsche and very well recognized in the Motorsports world.
They work closely with the Top team in Porsche Super Cup in Germany as well as with a few teams here in USA.
We've been working with them a lot on the GT3s and also Cup, and proved the fact that their products are long lasting and actually do improve performance.

For those who doesn't know me, I'm a long time forum member (Screen name: M3EvoBR) and very active on the 997 GT3 section, that recently upgraded to my business account. Feel free to ask me any questions.

Here you have 3 options, 2 with valves controls for quiet and louder (sport) operation and one without valves:

- Exhaust system for weight savings sound and power, without valve control (fits Carrera and Carrera S) - 10WHP / 8lbs/ft gain

- Just exhaust replacement for weight savings and sound and power improvement

- Complete exhaust system with high flow headers with 200 Cel HJS cats.

Here are a few facts from the system:

+ 22 WHP / 17 lbs/Ft.
- 200 cell HJS Sport Catalysts.
- 25 lb. weight savings over OEM system (Weighs 59 lbs. (27,0 Kg), OEM weighs 84 lbs. (38Kg).
- 2 3/4" Tubing (70mm).
- 4 x 3.5"(90mm) Round Tips.
- T 316 stainless steel, highest stainless steel grade.
- Absolutely NO DRONE in the cabin.
- Will Pass emissions in all US states, and also will NOT trigger check engine light

- Standing measurement / valves closed: 85 db
- Standing measurement / valves open: 99 db
- Passing measurement / valves closed: 85 db
- Passing measurement / valves open: 90 db

More information please visit the website.

Sound clips will be available soon.

Thank you,

Eddie.

Can you explain how the quite loud mode? Is it controlled by a switch/button, or opens at higher rpm?

Will do. Do you want the system with valves or without valves.

It can be controlled thru a key FOB, or just by vacuum thru RPM.
I personally prefer the NON artificial sound, so my choice would be for the key FOB.

Thank you

Porsche usually don't void or have any objection with exhaust systems that are cat back, that means your headers and catalyst converter are untouched.

No the price on the website is for the system alone, but the controller can be added with little cost.

I would love to have the videos done asap.

As you can see on the website, we perform real dyno tests same day same dyno to show real performance gains.

Speedart in Germany uses M&M exhausts in their builds and power packages.

Here is a sample video of a 991 Carrera with valves.

I also updated the first post with the non valved system, which is the most cost effective of them all.

Thank you

What drives the cost in a system like this?
