Supposedly on the Atlas Leader, which according to my dealer, should berth in San Diego on March 9th. Using MarineTraffic.com and other sites, last seen in the Azores, and apparently headed to Brunswick GA, berthing on the 18th. I cannot find any itinerary that shows it continuing to San Diego, but I assume that revision will only show up after it gets to Georgia, and then only if the info I was given by the dealer is indeed correct, which I will assume for now it is.

Very excited.

I don't know of modern methods of tracking ships and planes are an advantage or a torture in these cases, but hang tight. It will get here eventually.

I would say both advantage and torture, but a well-known part of the custom order process. I've been through this before multiple times for my 5-car succession of BMWs (all leased, but all custom-ordered).

However, this Porsche is a much bigger deal to me, therefore the torture is more probably by a factor of two or three, but the anticipation is greater by a factor of ten or so. The BMWs have been great friends, but the Porsche is the literal realization of a 40-year dream. It will not be leased!

OK, I was given the wrong ship info by my dealer for my car as I somewhat suspected. The Atlas Leader left on the 7th, not the 13th, which it turns out is my on-vessel date. Ship name is currently unknown; it is to be resolved hopefully Monday with an updated vessel schedule. The current Porsche schedule that the dealer has access to stopped at the 7th. Oh well, add another 6 days or so to the arrival, maybe the 15th in San Diego.

Saintly patience needed...
The dream remains in the active dream state a bit longer...

On Capricornus Leader, last noted at a day ago off the westernmost coast of Northern France. Dealer is not yet able to get its San Diego arrival date. Next destination is PA MCA, which I assume is Panama, perhaps the canal. One site showed its arrival at "PA MCA" as March 1st, which sounds about right. Well, at least no Eastern Coast stops to impede progress to the West Coast.

Patience, Grasshopper.

San Diego Port's schedule shows the Copernicus Leader (now verified as my car's ship by PCNA regional manager) expected to arrive on the 11th of March, a Monday, only eighteen days away. If I get lucky, then I might have it by the end of that week.

Red full-leather interior, Oh My!

I am in the same boat as you (no pun intended). Mine supposedly started transit last week. I am waiting for the boat information - when I get it I will post it here and we can see how they are comparing. I am on the East coast though, so I think my wait will ultimately be less than yours. Like you, I am really looking forward to it. Upgrading from a 2008 997 non-DFI tiptronic will be a nice transition.

Update: The Capricornus Leader, in which my C2S is cruising the world, is now through the Panama Canal and into the Pacific, due in San Diego on the 12th or 13th. It was cool watching the ship on the PC webcam at the Miraflores locks entering and then dropping to sea level before proceeding on toward the open ocean.

Anyone else have a car in this vessel?

Getting REAL close now after three months since ordering. Two more weeks (or so) to go. I've got my clear side markers to pop on...

OK, now the super hard part; the shipped docked yesterday morning, so the white car is on California terra firma, only 140 miles away. Don't want to wait another week, I want it NOW.

You know you could have arranged to pick the car up ar port and saved the $950 and gotten it sooner(since it's only 140 miles away).
BTW- The red interior is dynamite. My wife's car has red full leather interior and it's beautiful
