After Long Wait ... Finally Came In ...

That is one awesome looking car!!. Love the color. How about a peek at the interior? Also, since you got both the Alu interior trim and the burmester, something I am thinking of doing on my 991 order... may I ask, is the alu? trim around the speakers on the door same or very similar to the alu trim around the center console, dash and doors? Also, does the alu trim have a discernable texture to the touch or is the texture mostly visual?

Thanks everyone. Here are a few interior shots. The Anthracite/Espresso is a little monochromatic, but came out great (my previous 3 all had black interior, so I wanted something different this time); the brushed aluminum is a very nice contrast.

Bulging discs high in my neck that impinge on nerves in my right shoulder/neck base; so the compromise with my wife was to get the PDK (I had originally gone into the dealership to order a Panamera GTS, but the lure of the 991 proved too much ...)

You can feel the brushed texture of the aluminum; somewhat of a matte finish and cold like aluminum. Considerably different than the glossy/slick of the standard trim (and much brighter.)

The trim around steering wheel, vents and Bermester speakers are standard. Since it wasn't an option to change those areas out, I was concerned when ordering of having both the upgraded aluminum trim alongside the plastic bits; but it looks just fine.

Again, beautiful, beautiful ride. Drive it in good health.

Congratulations, great build. Drive your 991 in good health. I miss my manual transmission too, getting used to the PDK. My problem is a very bad left knee. I bought a Panamera that I eventually traded in for my 991. Very addicting after a test drive.
