anyone have a sport design steering wheel in manual transmission?
working on my c2s cab order....anyone have the sportdesign steering wheel in manual? i'm curious if the multifunction stalk works well enough to forego the multifunction steering wheel.
i prefer the sports design look better, but is there a dramatic increase in convenience with MF wheel? thanks everyone.

I have the sport steering wheel with a Manual.
Didn't like the monotone look of the MF wheel and certainly didn't like the flimsy buttons.
I would suggest that you pop into your local dealer and have a feel for yourself.
Just my personal preference..

Although I don't yet have a 911, I test drove it and came to the conclusion, that if / when I order, I'll get the sport wheel. I liked how it looked a lot better, thought it brightened up the cabin. Then I returned to my DD, and found I almost never use the buttons on the wheel, confirming my decision. I'm a 7 sp MT person also.
Same goes for "voice recognition". I have had it on 3 cars and never, ever use it.

I've got manual and the standard wheel. Was kind of surprised (well not really) that a MF wheel wasn't standard since every econobox over $10K comes with them, but honestly I've survived fine without it. The stalk covers most functions and the dash buttons can be accessed with just a quick glance, so I'd stick with either the standard or Sport design wheels.

I have a manual go with the Sport Design wheel, I have the standard sans the buttons the stalk works great. The standard wheel is the only diapointing part of the interior. I may have the sport wheel installed during the fist service.

I've had the 7 speed manual with the sort design wheel for the last 6 months and love the look and feel. No problem with the stalk. Works great. I also did the dials in black. Love the look.
