It looks like 'Riviera Blue' to me. It is at Porsche's 'Exclusive Manufaktur' stand. And what better
color to show than their most popular PTS color...'Riviera Blue'!
Is this at Frankfurt Auto Show as we speak?

That is surprising news...
The Quail Zentrum in mid-August in Carmel. It's kind of unexpected news. I reported here on Rennlist when Matthew was assigned to
'Porsche Exclusive' back in the Spring of 2014, after a he had spent a short time as a 'product planner' at PCNA's headquarter in Atlanta:
https://rennlist.com/forums/991/7085...l#post11458533
I am hoping to get together with Barbara Boeckenhoff, Manager Porsche Exclusive - Personal Design, during Rennsport to get an explanation of
the changes & direction she wants to take 'Porsche Exclusive' in the US!

Hello
Just returned from Frankfurt Press Day yesterday, Sven T from Porsche Exclusive indicated to me that Maimi Blue, and another light Metalic Blue will be in the basic optional clors on the 991.2 along with Lava Orange.

The other light metallic blue new color is 'Graphite Blue' and will be a regular metallic option, not a
'Special Color'.
By the way, if you see Sven Theis again, please give him my regards. He is a very nice & helpful
'Porsche Exclusive' employee at Zuffenhausen's 'Customer Center'!

I believe Florian Truffner is taking over. I'm in the process of setting up an appointment with him since my appointment with Matt was scheduled for the week after he left

Eduardo,
Please could you let us know the timescale for a PTS build. As in, how long does it take to build a PTS car from start to finish. How much longer than a "normal" order does it take?
My OPC says it takes 3 months start to finish, I find it very hard to believe this or understand why it would take so long.
Many thanks. I have a PTS GTS on order since April and awaiting UK delivery in January 2016

With so many parts & panels supplied to the factory by outside vendors in the modern 'just-in-time' and just-in-sequence'
methods, the logistics in assembling any one single PTS Porsche can be daunting. The paint has to be specially ordered
and delivered to each & every station that will be involved - for both exterior and interior parts! So I don't find it surprising
that 3 months is the minimum time that Porsche would require to execute fully & efficiently a true PTS order.
So it normally takes three months from the moment PAG accepts the PTS order on your model to the date of its actual
production assuming you choose a pre-approved color. But in the case of MY2016 & PTS, especially with 991 gt3 RS
orders, that time table has been pushed back even further! We have heard of up to 6 months delays. Why? PAG is
not telling us why. Indeed, they continue to surround PTS with mystery and...opaqueness. They closed the MY2016
PTS window in July (2015), which is earlier than normal, and have allowed speculation run rampant as to why they
couldn't keep up with PTS 'demand', which they admit is higher than expected. I wonder why demand is higher?
Do any of you have any idea? Who the hell ever talks about PTS?
So far they are not saying much except: 'Sorry - but no-can-do'.

Detlev gets promoted to a new job in Germany...
To inform the forum in case some of you missed the news yesterday, our friend Detlev von Platen (formerly CEO of PCNA) has been
promoted to head Global Sales & Marketing at PAG and will be based at headquarters in Germany. And Oliver Blume, formerly head
of Production & Logistics at Porsche, has been elevated to CEO of PAG, replacing Matthias Müller who was promoted to CEO of the
VW Group after Martin Winterkorn's resignation last week.

Detlev was one happy camper at Rennsport this weekend. He was a dynamic CEO at PCNA and will be missed! But he is headed
for much bigger things at PAG. And it would not be surprising to me if he becomes CEO of PAG in a few years' time!
