Question: if you order pts/lts what does it typically do to delivery timelines? do you still only pay full balance on receipt of car or do CXX options end up being applied after the car is built and you’ve settled the balance?

Thanks... plotting manoeuvres.

Please clarify because many of us believe that PTS on
models assembled at Zuffenhausen (minus exceptions
I have previously listed above) are indeed painted in-house
at their state-of-the-art paint facilities and NOT by an outside
vendor!

CXX options have been always done after production is
finished & the car is brought into the 'Exclusive Manufaktur'
workshop. The Exclusive workers are factory employees
for the most part. There are few reps from some vendors
(e.g. radio supplier/vendor) to make sure that it all works
properly after certain CXX options are done around the
trim of those audio tech parts. But otherwise it's factory
workers, albeit that specialized in these CXX matters,
that are doing the installations.

Eduardo, FWIW I just completed a tour of Werk I, with an Exclusive employee (not the “regular” factory tour) - and they confirmed your understanding. PTS is indeed painted by Porsche itself.

I'm so happy to see you mentioned the historic 356 link.

People think its Gulf Blue, but its quite different, much more subtle with a grey tint.

The other reason I wanted to post is in response to the image you posted. Here are current images of the car, thank goodness its back to exactly the way it was built at the factory minus the stripe and with its original silver wheels. I think a graphics delete with silver wheels RS is sublime, but then I'm biased. You are a wealth of information which I often read, but when you touched on one of my favorite subjects, I had to post.

hi! Can you please help me. Where can I buy this color?

Default Photo book from Porsche

Darrell:

I talked about a Porsche option that documented some unique options to
the car being installed by the 'Exclusive Manufaktur' at their after-assembly
workshop. That was around 1000 euros back a few years ago.

There is now perhaps an even more expensive photo book that might trace
the full assembly process of 'your' car in Zuffenhausen.

You need to talk to Porsche Exclusive Manufaktur in Atlanta & ask what are
the current options available to you regarding these photo books during the
build!

Hello all!

My name is Samuel and I'm an automotive photographer. I am working on a project and part of it is creating custom fine art style photo albums for Porsche owners. Anyway, I know that Porsche exclusive has an option when you are ordering a bespoke Porsche, they will document every step of the build of your custom Porsche via photographs and put it all together in a photo book for you to purchase along with your new vehicle. I wanted to know if anyone has this book of their own custom Porsche from Porsche. I would really appreciate any help on this matter!

Thank you for reading & God Bless!
Samuel
