seems like an awful lot of money for some thread. I love a targa but guards red on a targa is a horrible choice. Targas always look good in darker more subdued colors.

WAY TOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO MUCH.

But not surprising Manhattan Motorcars has it. They are the epitome of overdone - tacky - and they price their used cars with numbers they pulled out of their @$$.

Ordered a 991.2 Targa GTS in Modegrau. Asked for Euro delivery and was told it would have to be in Leipzig as Zuffenhausen will be closed for Mission E Upgrades. Can anyone let me know if Leipzig is worth it?

I would request Leipzig over Stuttgart EU delivery all day long....

Brett, interesting comment & I am sure
you have a reason for posting it. But I
am curious as to why you would suggest
to Rennlisters to request Leipzig over
Zuffenhausen (assuming both locations
are available
) if this would be a customer's
first 'European Delivery' at PAG-Europe.

And it is in fact my first. Based on my extensive readings here and in this thread particularly I was under the assumption that Zuffenhausen would be the best choice for a first timer. Also my stepfather was born in Achern, which is very close. Not that Leipzig is lame, seems amazing. I just would rather see the 911 line. Although I am very excited for the Mission E (only reason why I have not ordered a Model S) unfortunately I'll have to see the 911 production line some other time.

Default PTS Nardo 991.2 Turbo S

I've read through this entire thread and enjoyed it all very much. Indispensable for trying to understand the process of ordering a special Porsche. Thank you all and especially Eduardo!

I actually started the process with wanting the upgraded Natural leather and chose Espresso. I saw a 918 with Acid Green piping on Espresso and really loved the combination. Many extra leathered covered items brought down the internal brightwork and allowed more areas to apply deviated stitching. Also have CF floormats with leather edging and AG stitch which look awesome. Interestingly I couldn't do AG on the steering wheel (which seeing the end result I am happier with how it turned out). I wanted to have some personal CXX items done and was told no such truly individualized requests were being processed since starting sometime this past fall. One thing I wanted in particular was embroidered "turbo S" in AG on headrests. Perhaps another day, different build.

Here's a few photos. Enjoy! and Thank You all again.

Beautiful build!
I love the 'beefier' feel of the aluminum PDK shift lever!
Love the vent stiching. I have my vent trim painted to match my exterior on my 991.2 C4S (no PTS available) but vent stitching will be on my next PTS Porsche.
PTS can be very frustrating indeed even a simple Exclusive item can be frustrating!-Richard

Eduardo is the King of Euro Delivery and Custom Porsches!!!! I have had 3 Euro deliveries, 1984...1988..and 2014, all at Zuffenhausen. Its the home of Porsche...why would you not want to go there on your first visit???? The last 2 visits I saw something very cool....
In 1988 I was able to see Porsche working on the Mercedes E500 cars....In July of 2014, my family and I saw over 2 dozen 918 cars being loaded on the trucks headed for the USA.....Such memorable experiences......History vs. New manufacturing facilities....I take history all day long.... I think Brett at Sonnen might be a bit off on this topic!

I also custom ordered my 991.1 TARGA GTS....Lots of options, but the CXX Wheel option is the most unique. Turbo S Polished wheels vs the standard Black GTS wheels. All CXX options are costly.....but it really makes your car special!

Is it not cheaper to buy a set of take off turbo wheels? I'm just wondering.

I do not believe so and there is a possible issue with offsets. This CXX option was $4230
