If you have sport plus mode engaged with a 7MT (sport chrono), the engine control will match revs when you downshift.
The rev matching is only performed if the clutch is disengaged and it is triggered by the movement of the shift lever into gear from neutral.
This means that if you actually know how to double-clutch (disengage clutch and shift out of gear, engage clutch and blip throttle to spin up transmission input shaft, disengage clutch and shift into lower gear), you will get a double blip, once to spin up the transmission shaft to spare the synchro, and once to spin up the engine to spare the clutch.

The trip mile counter on the pcm maxes out (6213 miles) before the one on the mfd (7830 miles and counting)... Not particularly interesting but hey.... It was a long slow trip!

The Porsche engineers must be very punctual - the time can show in 4 places at once with Sport Chrono: the digital time in the chrono, the analog time in the chrono, on the PCM, and in the multifunction display in the dash!

Don't know if this was mentioned already, but the car will set the e-brake automatically if you shut off the engine while stopped on a sufficiently steep slope.

PDK car if the car is in D auto on a slight incline in gear without your foot on the brake where the weight of the car on the incline is holding the car in a stationary position after 30 seconds the car will set the parking brake automatically.

There is no warning sound, but you can set limit alerts that show up on the MFD. For example, set your speed limiter to 60 and once that is reached, the MFD will alert you.

Yes spot on (minus 0.7 of a mile) which is where I guess the stop limit comes from... But the pcm which stops at 6213 is synched to the trip counter in the mfd which keeps going ... past 7500 miles and counting. Not sure why they would be different ... I only know this because a) I am **** b) I reset both when new and didn't reset them until today...to see how the mpg moved through break in. FIO...It started off for the first 1000-2000 miles at 25.7mpg and steadily rose to 27.7mpg
Trust me... I do use all the revs when I can and would love to claim a sub 20mpg average but as a DD I can't avoid those long stints at 70mph ...er... ish ...for long periods....

Coming from a MF steering wheel to the SD steering wheel - and missing the ability to mute a phone call with a push of the roll button on the MF - I was pleasantly surprised to note that you can mute the phone when on a call by pressing the volume button on the PCM once.
Also, instead of pressing the PCM screen to get rid of the warning on start up, you can hit one of the other buttons (e.g. the map button) twice and it will go away.
