As others have said, top up! As your backing out the driveway, lower the top! When pulling in, raise the top! 19s or so and while driving up to 35mph, why not?

Always up for the reasons given, plus this one. My community is populated with many high end cars. Mine is the only one that can cruise along at 30mph with the top going up or down. I inflict this visual spectacle on my neighbors whenever I take it out. Ain't any Ferrari or Lambo that can do that. Just say'in.....Chris

I always close my car up in my garage. I have a sunroof, and that gets closed along with the windows. I have tons and tons of spiders in my area in Atlanta. More for the dust than anything else, though.

Up! Keep the dust out! I might not drive the car for days at a time and even though we keep the garage closed there is always something settling into our black interior. I'm a bit obsessive about (not) seeing white flecks on a black background so . . .

Found one of these red headed centipedes in the car when I lived in Austin. Yes, they bite, and inject poison with their legs.

Um ... top up!

Made the tarantula in the pool, rattlesnakes sunning themselves on the rocks and the occasional scorpion falling out of a can light seem like minor inconveniences, let me tell you. Those centipedes are FAST and scary looking.

Kinda glad to be back in the Northeast ... LOL
