991 Owners- Using any oil?
Having owned two 997.2's that both used oil, I am curious if the new 991 engines are doing the same. None of my other water cooled Porsches used oil like the 997.2's I have owned. Up to .5 quarts per 1000 miles.
991 owners, yes or no on oil usage?
I am not familiar with making a Poll thread, but it might be nice on this issue, if any one would care to.
Thanks.

1100 miles (3.4 l) and no indication that the level has dropped. No smoke or soot on the rear either! A far cry better than my 2009 997.2 (3.6 l).

Checked oil level at 3,800 miles and it was on final bar. Went to the stealership and had them top off with a quart or two. Observed break-in period (<4,200 rpm for 1st 2,000 miles) for the most part with several short bursts over 4,200 rpm.. Plan on getting first oil change at 5,000 miles.
