5000 miles, down 2 bars. As this was the first time I checked it I don't know if it used oil or came that way!

Unlike my Boxter S, I never get smoke puff on startup. But it didn't really consume much oil, compared to my good old 911 SC.

TOOK TO TRACK 5 TIMES. NO OIL CONSUMPTION. 997.2 PDK CONSUMES MORE OIL THE 991 PDK.

Unfortunately, 1K miles = 1 quart used! Same as my 997.2 and I was hoping the 991 wouldn't use as much oil. Could still have been a "break in" thing but I suspect this one's gonna use oil just like the last one...life with Porsche!

yes. Dealer gave me two quarts of mobil1 oil. Used about 4oz in 1400 miles.

I went down one bar after 116 miles. Im thinking I was right on the edge of full and one bar under full from factory though. How much oil is one bar on the oil level indicator?
