Default DFW clear bra

Looking for some direction with who to take soon to come GTS to. I used Invisibra once before and was happy.

Any suggestions? Will take delivery at Autobahn.

I have used Protect mobile in the past (they also have a shop in Lewisville/Carrollton area). They are very cheap, and you will see edges if you look close. My last two 911's were done by the Park Place dealership and although I cannot confirm it I think they subcontracted it to the team of guys from Forcefield and they did a good job ( you can find an edge or two if you get real close and hunt.)
The guy with the reputation as the best around is Norm Schilling at Invisibra. More expensive, takes 2 or 3 days, and it is supposedly perfect.
I am fine with a "good" job for a middle of the range price. Some want perfection, though. If you want to see mine, I am in For Worth working every day except thursdays.

Last time I used Invisibra his old shop was being run by Brian Martin and now seems to be staffed by someone else. Norm had a great reputation, but I don't believe he is still at Invisibra.

Norm and Brian are no longer at Invisibra. Josh Ottman now owns it. You can try him.
Park Place has become a lot better at clear bras over the last year as well.

I've heard same input on Invisibra: new owner, expensive, long turn around times. Reputation is strong, but I wonder how much walked out the door with the old owner?

I went and visited Forcefield's shop. I was very impressed....and have pretty much stopped shopping around. Bid in hand, just need the car now. LOL

Kevin was very informative and forthright with his input. He *can* do it right at Autobahn (I guess they set him up right in the showroom and he covers the car "live" for all to see), but prefers his own facility. It's got clean, specialized air filtration, the film is cut right in the next room, etc, etc. I didn't realize he also does on-site at Park Place (my delivery will be at AB as well).

Lastly, this is ALL Forcefield does. No window tint, no detail services, nothing. Just custom Xpel film.

The biggest challenge is getting the car from west Fort Worth to his shop in Highland Village without a ding.....lots of construction and traffic between those two points!

We'll need to get all these N. Texas GTSs together one day!

I heard Houston Orona is no longer doing hands-on wirk, and confirmed it with a phone call to him. He is running several crews of installers in various locations in DFW (Dallas mainly I think). So if you want the owner to be the installer, he is not doing that any more from what I could determine. My info is 12 months old, so YMMV.

Hey guys, I'm Josh the new owner of Invisibra, I was referred to this thread by another member so I thought I'd just address any questions first hand about Invisibra and changing ownership and all....

I detailed cars for 11 years mobile as Ottmann Detailing and was in and out of Invisibra for a good 8-9 years detailing and prepping cars for Norm and later Brian, fast forward 8 years to the present.... the last year before I took over Invisibra I was being trained by Brian and helping him during his busy times. The last 3 months have been side by side working together with him. Nothing has changed in the way I install film from how he and Norm did it. Still not using pre-cut kits, and still owner installed. Those are the main reasons for the long turn around times. It just takes time to do it right.

I actually wanted to buy the business from Norm 3 years ago when he sold it to Brian but missed the opportunity and Brian and I have actually talked about me taking it over from day 1 when he bought it 3 years ago as Brian really likes to buy and sell businesses. For me this is something I've wanted to do for quite a while and am happy to have Invisibra since I know they are the best I've ever seen in 11 years of detailing high end cars.

I'm very much looking forward to the future of Invisibra and Ottmann Detailing under one roof.

BTW, all the above mentioned PPF installers use crews to do their installs and most use pre-cut kits which we do not.

Thanks,
Josh

Invisibra has done all my Porsches. They do great work. My issue is having time to get the car to them and then picking it up due to my schedule.
I’m sure Josh will carry on the tradition of high quality and probably be even better!
