Default Photos of Anthracite Brown Metallic

I saw this car in person today. This is a great color that really looks fantastic when the sunlight hits it!

I think that's my new favourite colour on the 991! Very few pictures of it around

Also saw one in person and thought it looked great. I admit it's an acquired taste though. Reminded me of an early 80's 928. Now all it needs is a brown tweed cloth interior!

Not sure if I'll be be bold enough to pick it when my C4S order slot opens up but like in nonetheless.

It looks nice, but I suspect rock chips and touch ups will be very visible.

Looks nice. I think it fits the image of the new 911 very well.

Of all the 991s, I liked that color the best. Got to see them during the journalists' shake down cruises in SoCal. Is that different than the Cognac? (See Below)

Hi guys,
Found this forum today and spent the whole day reading it
Still, I haven't found what I'm looking for.

So, desperately wanted: pics of an Anthracite Brown 991 !

I often see pictures of colours that look like it, but I'm not sure if they are AB or not (depending on sunlight hitting the car). I actually wanted a brown like the Macademia on the 997 but I'm afraid the AB on the 991 is much lighter. For instance the pics of the car here above: I'm not sure if it's light brown or dark brown. Where the sun hits it it's too light for my tast while the shadow spots are just right.
Can you point me towards some clear pics of a 991 with AB?
Pretty please?

Thx!!

Besides the pics above, Circle Porsche's website has a couple of indoor photos of this same car - http://www.circleporsche.com/details...8+Long%20Beach

If you want Macademia, then ask for a Paint To Sample for Macademia. That way you get exactly what you want and a semi-custom experience.

it is pretty brown - i thought it had more gray in it but no - in person i didn't like it as much as i thought - when you see it against the red tailights the colour really goes brown.

Thanks for the effort

Decided it's not dark enough for me though.
Having doubts about ordering one all together and think I'm gonna wait for some pics of the new 4S. I have a 996 4S now and I really like big butts

And things took a different turn

Monday evening I decided to give up the slot I had for a Carrera 991 because none of the colors were 100% my taste. If you know me you'd know that's a hard thing to do for me.
And then, suddenly...
Opened up the P-configurator once again thursday morning to find they added a new color: Mahogany.
The color I always imagined on the car.
Long story short: I ordered one in Mahogany

This is the color on a Boxster:
