What is the difference between the "planned" date and the "expected" date?

Planned is the original date in the scheule and expected is the new updated date

I am hearing that a 991 Targa 4S could take up to 9 months to build if ordered today. Does that sound right?

Seems possible, depending on allocations. For context on timing, I lucked into a confirmed allocation (Targa GTS) at V200 on 2/13, did ED on 6/8, and should have it at my US dealer this week. It really depends on whether you have an allocation at v200, or just an order in demand. It pays to shop around (The third dealer I spoke with is the one that actually managed to trade for an allocation).

Interesting how no deliveries have been completed since March of this year ... is there a reason that everyone has stopped contributing their build and delivery results here?

I'll be adding my final stats here within a week (hopefully).

I'll do the same - hoping for delivery right after Xmas, but we'll see if she makes the boat :)

Also note that the factory has a traditional Summer month-long shutdown which was a factor in not being able to get an earlier build schedule.
