Is suggested build date and freeze date one and the same?

No. My build date is 5/30 and my freeze date according to the dealer was 5/1/14. I think that he was early though and that I probably had a couple more days to make last minute changes.

Placed an order for my TT on 5/3
Originally scheduled for completion on 7/4
New Completion date - 6/20
Entry into German port - 6/27
Exit German port - 7/4
Entry into Rhode Island - 7/25

Dealer is telling me to expect taking deliver before July month-end as the transit time from Germany to Rhode Island is way too long.

Car got to the port in Germany on 6/19 and is now scheduled to exit the port in Germany on 6/27!

I guess I got real unlucky here ... should have been 4-8 weeks, but I'm gonna push 9 weeks, the boat has not arrived in Germany yet (looks to be outside Portugal heading North as of 06/21/14). Any other with ED, can you comment on time from drop-off till ship ? (I was hoping for 1-2 weeks at the most).

Car left Germany on 6/23 and arrived in Rhode Island on 7/6 (would have been 7/5 but for the hurricane) Well ahead of schedule.

So here are my dates: VEH Completion...7/25...LV EMDEN 8/15...ARR SD 9/19...so how long does PDI take?

The waiting is the hardest part....

I'm hoping the car is done now (I try to only bug the dealer once a week, if that...), will hit the port inside a week from now, make the port of Houston by August 13th, and that I can pick it up in Dallas by August 20th. We'll see...
