not sure where the above info is coming from but i have found pictures of the stock wheels with their oem stickers applied showing the offsets are lower than suggested above:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/PORSCHE-BRAN...e00992&vxp=mtr
20" Carrera Classic Wheels Specifications:
Front Wheel: Part #: 991-362-161-30 Size: 8.5Jx 20" Offset: 51
Rear Wheel: Part #: 991-362-166-30 Size: 11.0Jx 20" Offset: 51
but this link says otherwise, not sure why the stickers would say ET51 on the wheels unless the seller has replica wheels and the stickers are reproduced and error'd

This was an old thread.
A lot of good threads have emerged since.
Regarding 19", people have done 265-35-19 F / 325-30-19 R fitments.
However, it reduces tire diameter (giving unsightly wheel well gap).
I don't know what offsets people used for above [265/325 19"].
I was considering:
F 19x9.5 49mm
R 19x12 74mm
Seems nobody wants the 245-40-19/285-35-19 fitment (which better preserves diameter) and might perform great.
I thought about it, for a more comfortable street setup that might even end up performing better than the factory 20".
For that, I was considering:
F 19x9 45mm
R 19x11 60mm
Some might want to go more aggressive.
Also, a 4s would need less offset in the rear.

Yes, those diameters keep you close to stock.
For street, you can look at: 295-35-19, for the rear, but with a 63mm rear wheel offset.
(This tire size not available in track tires).

Looking at these OZ wheels, what would be the tire size I shod go with for a C2S? I wanted to keep them close to stock. Punching the number into willtheyfit dot come, there seems to be changes to the ride height due to the slight diameter shift. Will i need an alignment when swapping for the 19"? Will the shift in height and speedo error concerning? Trying to close to stock as possible.
