I love racing yellow. Much better than speed yellow.
But I may be biased.
I have a great time getting out of it, no matter the venue. Of course, I have a much better time getting back into it.
I'd be interested to know opinions on Racing Yellow from those who've seen it in the flesh. How does it compare with Fly Yellow (besides being brighter)? Fly Yellow was never a favourite of mine.
As it has been pointed out, 'Fly Yellow' is a Ferrari Color. If you meant to say that 'Speed Yellow' is not a favorite color of yours, then no worries mate since 'Racing Yellow' is quite different!
In my opinion, one of the most striking Porsche colors was 'Signal Yellow' from the early 911 period in the seventies!

I just saw racing yellow on the Cayman at the auto show. My reaction (mirrored by friends who went with me) was that is is stunning in person. It had a lot of depth for a non metallic color and avoided looking too plastic like. I would still be afraid of getting pulled over every day, but it's definitely not a color I would tire of. It's so hard to tell how good it really is in pictures, you really should find a dealer that has a car with it in stock.
I had a 987 CS in Speed Yellow and a 981 CS in Racing Yellow... and I just traded the 981 today. I lived with a yellow Porsche for 8 years and loved every minute. Would highly recommend yellow... its a head-turner and it just makes you feel good behind the wheel. Just ordered a Miami Blue CGTS 4.0.
