Default 991 and Fuchs-style wheels

Does anyone know if the 19" Fuchs-style sport classic wheel avail on the 997s will fit on a 991? I don't know if the wheel bolt pattern has changed. And, will 19" fit on the 991 S? It looks like there is plenty of clearance around the brake calipers for 19" wheels to fit on the 991 S where 20" were standard. And if so, I wonder how the handling/suspension would be affected.

The 991 wheels and tyres are:

5lugs

911 Carrera
8,5 J x 19 ET 54; 235/40 ZR 19
11 J x 19 ET 63; 285/35 ZR 19

911 Carrera S
8,5 J x 20 ET 51; 245/35 ZR 20
11 J x 20 ET 70; 295/30 ZR 20

I don't see why they wouldn't fit.

The brakes of the S are only 10mm bigger in the front
330 x 28 mm VS 340 x 34 mm

There should be no fitment issues.

Why would you want to put a 25+ year old wheel design on a modern car like the 991?

Probably to match the duck tail.

The offsets will be very close to that of the 997 -- so past designs should fit well.

Why does a 2013 991 look like a 49 year old '64 911?...

I personally think the Fuchs wheels are the best looking.

You and I are on the opposite ends of the spectrum on the Fuchs wheels. The original wheels looked good in 15" but, IMO, they didn't upgrade well to 19" wheels.

To me they look much too small even though they are 19" wheels. The outer rim appears to be too thick, which makes the windmill blades appear shorter than they really are. This combination, to my eye, makes them appear undersized for the car.

That's why they make several styles for different choices from people like us!!
Configure a base Carrera and choose the Sport Techno wheel in black. Man, that is HOT.

I'm still wrestling with this issue as well. I am just not seeing the translation to the larger diameters working as it should. 16 inch diameters were the ideal aesthetic diameter for me.
