Nice photos of the 911.

The two-door Panapoopoo can't come soon enough IMHO.

The seats are pretty much like the sport adaptives I have. Yet, they feel different, perhaps it is the material.

The front trunk is actually larger than that on the 2WD 997 models. That's always nice.

I think there is more room in back than before.

The central console seems still a bit cheap. I suspect it will be one of those things that you need to either cover in leather or higher priced materials to get a sense of quality in there.

Hey Dan, did you ask or know IF the spoiler can be lifted up to give better acces to engine? I can't possibly imagine if the opening is JUST THAT SMALL!

Q1: Is the carrera GT silver or platinum? (pier997)

I'd like to know also.

Q2: The busy rear logo.

Its probably me only but the more I see of the "PORSCHE" rear logo with the "911 Carrera" or "911 Carrera S" model desgnation the more I'm liking it. Anyone else?

It's growing on me too. Some of the pics I've seen without any logo- rear looks empty or too big. I think I might like the Porsche logo with just 911 under it. Still thinking.

It was a design feature on the original 928 from 1977 until 1986:

The only trouble with the recessed lights is that they cannot add a connecting reflector strip between the existing lights like the 996 and 997 4S cars.

The spoiler may function like it does on the 997s, in that when it is up, it doesn't really afford you the opportunity to access anything. It's my understanding that the majority of servicing is now going to have to be done laparoscopically from beneath!

See the Cognac colored car with spoiler up, and then with hatch opened.

Did you miss it? The new 991 model is the 2-door Panamera. Same internal console, bulbous headlights, long wheelbase, electric power steering, button-operated e-brake, auto start-stop, larger rear seats. A nice GT.

Thanks for those pics and explanation! This totally SUCKS! Add 30% or more to any service cost!

I say it again. It is a superb performer. I'm sure better performer than the 997. And yes the engine is in the rear, but if feels less so, for the sake of a higher performance envelope and other reasons I see no need to discuss in a forum.
