I was thinking the same thing. Looks like there is access to fluid caps and not much else. But many of the new Bimmers and MBZ are almost the same with their large plastic engine covers.
I'm liking the look, especially the black one. Interiors look much more refined and higher quality.

I assume some of these will be heading to the upcoming LA Auto show this month.

Thanks for sharing.

Great "spy" shots taken by a certified 911 enthusiast. Thanks

Awesome shots! Thanks a lot Dan...

As expected, the 20s look odd, and make the brake rotors too tiny IMO. I do like the 19s, WISH it was an option for Carrera S models!

I also think that 991 looks better on darker colors, specially at the back with the very narrow taillight, the Black ones stand out a lot more as there's a big contrast between red tails and body color!

Thank you for the great pix. Any feel for rear leg room relative to 997?

Unfortunately, I was so busy just taking it all in that I failed to look back there for any growth.

Terrific pictures. Thanks for posting. I'm at a loss as to how anyone looking at these could think that the 991 is not a great looking car, unless they just don't like 911's.......

Wink

I'm so ambivalent about this car.

No one can say it's not beautiful yet there are things about it I'm not wild about. The skinny tail lights and the front head lights and the width of the front.....just appears a bit too wide and the headlights seem....I don't know ....too upright.

Still good looking just not love at first sight for me like the 997 was. Waiting for it to grow on me has never worked ...with cars or women!

Beautiful cars, Dan. Thanks for posting. The new car is certainly a winner. An incredible step in the right direction.

I have to say that I am in love with this 991. The badging is the worst part, but can be remedied. The tail lights had me at "Hello" and the longer and lower stance of the body certifies it for me. IMHO, I think they hit a home rum with the 991. I know there are skeptics and all the 993 or 997 pureists, but this really gets the blood flowing for me.
