Porsche 991 Tour of South Africa - Update with ducktail pictures!
Just saw this in the PCA online newsletter:

A friend of mine is president of the Porsche Club of Hungary and he and other Presidents (forgive me if I'm not getting this title correct) are being invited by Porsche to go to Capetown soon to drive the 991 on Porsche's dime. Must be nice :-)

Awaiting the arrival of 167 new 991s! 167!!
Only a few days to go now before the 991 C2S arrive here in sunny (sometimes windy) Cape Town! They're taking over our local race circuit - Killarney - and will also be flooding CT's panoramic drives with some flat 6 symphony. No invites for local Porsche Club folk as yet as Stuttgart is running this show but I'm confident the friendly Cape Town vibe will do it's magic.

I only had 20min at the track today so just a few pics but great to see all the new 991s lined up and ready to play. About 5 instructor cars, a yellow 997 Turbo and about 40 991s in silver, black, white - no reds or yellows except a 997 Turbo pace car. Seemed all of them were C2S. Vid's are short but on YouTube .. There are 2 from today - more from weekend hopefully

Here's a few pictures my friend took while he was there for the last weekend when the factory paid for all the Porsche Club Presidents to come down and try out the new car.

nice shots - here's a P Identity inhouse vid that shows the car really well, as well as the huge expense - 167 cars, the whole board, the founder family, most of the intl dealers, entire workshop, Jet fighters etc.. - for the launch the car in Cape Town (not that we're complaining here - the cars are at our P Centre this week).
Some great views but I see more Panamera than 911 in some shots - Enjoy (and come visit!)
