Default Changing out the key fob battery

Got a message in MFD that said to change out key battery. I have a bunch of 2032 lithium coin batteries and was hoping it would be the correct battery. Came home and checked the Porsche Good to Know app and indeed it is a 2032. It’s a super easy battery swap. Here are the instructions. Hope this helps.

Damn, the MFD says to do it? Today I learned.

No longer should anyone say "well is your fob battery low" in response to issues.

Now if we could only get the "your battery isn't brand new? replace it" knee-jerk reaction to problems outta here....

Is this for the .1 as well for the MFD warning? I don't recall seeing that in the manual.

Cant confirm for 991.1. Message popped up in 19 C4GTS. Would guess that at least should carryover for 991.2 variants.

Yes, low batter warning will appear on MFD on the dot 1.

Don't forget to remove the paper isolator from the back of the battery. Ask me how I know
