Not exactly the same, because my car is failry stock (just headers), but this past weekend I got a chance to drive my friend's 981 GT4 on track. His car has headers, more camber and stickier/wider tires (265/325 CRS vs 245/305 ECF). By turn 2 of the first lap I knew his car handled much better than mine. I suppose if I dump a bunch of money in to my car I could get it to handle better, but out of the box I don't think there's any competition. After just 3 laps, I was able to set a PB track time in his car.

Yes, it's a fun track! It's a bit of a drive for us, from Canada, but we're lucky that most of the tracks around here have a lot of elevation changes and the scenery is quite beautiful.

Does your car have RAS?

if so, how did you get 19” wheels to clear the rear suspension joint?

No RAS, no problem with the rear suspension. I buy these wheels on tire rack, they are Forged one competition FF06.
I’m running 265 on front and 295 on the rear Hoosiers R7 tires only for track use.
