Extending CPO Warranty

Are there any Porsche dealer folks on here that deal with the CPO warranty sales. I have a 2017 still under CPO and I'd like to extend it. I have one quote from the dealer I purchased the car from and would like to see if there are deals out there. With some other MFG's I've been able to buy at a discount.

What I've been quoted so far• (Platinum) 12 months 12,000 miles less 250 deductible = $5,769.00

• (Platinum) 24 months 24,000 miles less 250 deductible = $5,996.00

• (Platinum) 36 months 36,000 miles less 250 deductible = $6,289.00

• (Platinum) 48 months 48,000 miles less 250 deductible = $6,966.00

• (Platinum) 60 months 60,000 miles less 250 deductible = $7,487.00

• (Platinum) 72 months 80,000 miles less 250 deductible = $8,804.00

These are not CPO extensions, but 3rd party warranty coverage your dealership is selling you. How many miles are on your 911? Pricing seems very high.

Thank you, I meant to call it the Porsche Vehicle Service Protection and I have 34200 miles.

If your car's CPO has not expired, you should be able to extend it further with a simple inspection. Or, have the annual service done at the dealer and the "inspection" should satisfy the inspection. Purchase CPO extension at the same time. The prices you've listed seem quite high as mentioned.

I agree the prices seem high. I'm hoping there is a person on the forums who work for the dealer and can share more details.

Correct!

Mine expires in August on my ‘19 T. No interest in extending. These cars are built well, reliable etc.. If I lose a water pump or something, fix it and move on. Beats a lexus.

I think they meant it beats driving a Lexus, or that is at least how I read it.

Ohhhh, thanks for the clarification. I have a Lexus with 220K miles at 3 miles at a time and it is bullet proof. On flip side it is no 911......
