Default Shout out to Paolo at Rennlights!

I actually meant to post this in the main 991 subforum instead of the Turbo forum. Whoops! So now it's in both places!

Finally put my restored headlights in after I had a full detail and ceramic coating. Paolo did an AMAZING job! They look brand new! His communication was fantastic. I would highly recommend. Now I'm waiting to send them back after he starts doing the blacked out interior for the PDLS+ lights. 😁

Completely agree. Great customer service and quality work. I had my 991.1 headlights done and was amazed at the quality of work and responsiveness.

Is that the bright silver or the dark metallic gray option on the headlights?
FWIW, I submitted an inquiry on his internet page a week ago, and haven't heard back. . . maybe he's on vacation?
edit: Paulo did reply to my internet inquiry the same day, but hisreply went into my spam filter, which I delete without reviewing.

Well, he is a forum sponsor here so you could try PMing him via Rennlist or call him. I just paid for his service and sent my lights in. He contacted me about a couple things and even refunded me as he couldn't do the black out on mine since they're PDLS+. His communication was great and he even texted me well after business hours.
I would keep trying. Many people on here have had their headlights refurbished by him.
My headlights are not the dark gray. They are the silver.

I didn't take any before pics of mine. But basically he cuts off the clear plastic cover and fits a new one on. It literally has a brand new cover.
If you search this forum, there is a detailed thread about his technique with many photos. Here's one of a couple:

Thanks. Paolo just contacted me, and I'll be shiipping in my headlights in the next week or so. I'll post before and after photos once they return.

Just wonder about the charge....and further, how difficult is it to remove the headlights on a 991.2?

All pricing is listed on his website. Your shipping cost may vary. Return shipping is included and he packages them extremely well (it's almost like he's done it before 🤣&#129315.

If removal on a 991.2 is the same as a dot 1, the tools are in your frunk and there are tons of YouTube videos. Not hard at all. 😊

Not correct. .1 cars had a tool in the roll up tool bag that you would use release a cam in the headlight mount mechanism to release headlight. .2 mount with 2 small nuts that require front bumper removal. Change was likely to decrease chances of headlight theft.

Well, I got my headlights back from Paolo at Rennlights today, and I think they look perfectly renewed! Below are the before photos from my 2015 991.1 Carrera…and the next post will show the after photos…
