Good for you for confronting him! You were an absolute stranger to him, so what does he care if you parked way out in a parking lot to keep your car ding free? I swear, I just don't understand some people.

OP, you were absolutely right to confront him, otherwise he’ll do the same to other cars, now he probably won’t. I would’ve done the same.
I’m not talking about getting physical or even swearing or shouting at someone, but sounds like you did it exactly right.

Last time someone did something like that I got them towed. I had parked into a space with a wall on the passenger side and I intentionally went super close to that side (no passenger) to give a ton of room so I can avoid door dings etc. They were completely oblivious to their **** park job until they saw their car being driven away on a tow truck and the cop informing them of their stupidity with the photo evidence as proof.

Guys - I've said this before - a Porsche is like a beautiful woman that sits by herself at a bar. Within a short period of time, she'll be surrounded by dick-heads. A simple law of attraction I suspect...
Solution? Travel with a red cone to place in the parking spot next to you?

It seems like no matter where you park, people find you, especially those bad at parking.
